It works in Chrome on Android. For iPhone, follow the simple steps further down the page.

Strong and evenVibration Test on Android
Chrome on Android can make your phone vibrate from a website, so the mobile vibration test above works on Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, OnePlus and most other Android phones.
On many Samsung phones you can also dial *#0*# to open a hardware test menu with a Vibration button. Other brands use different codes, and some have none.

Vibration Test on iPhone
Safari on iPhone does not let websites vibrate your phone, so an iPhone vibration test has to be done in Settings. It only takes a minute and works on every recent iPhone.
If the preview patterns are weak or silent while everything is switched on, the Taptic Engine may need a check by Apple or an authorised repair shop.
- 1
Open Settings, Accessibility, Touch, and make sure Vibration is turned on.
- 2
Go to Settings, Sounds and Haptics, and check that haptics are set to play.
- 3
Tap Ringtone, then Haptics or Vibration, and tap any pattern. The iPhone vibrates to preview it.
- 4
Try a few patterns, including your own if you made one.
- 5

Weak or No Vibration? Fixes
Most vibration problems are a setting, not a broken motor. Go through these fixes in order and tick each one as you try it.
